Found some scrap lead!

I'm not actually going to buy it. I don't like dealing with these kind of messes.

Though, there is something kinda cool about a stack of lead ingets that gets me excited.

If I guy was smart, he'd buy it, melt/alloy it to brinell 20-22 or so and sell it off as ingots at $2 a pound. that would be $16,000.
 
do you think that the gov ran all that brass through some sort of heat treatment to pop the primers?

I've heard that makes the brass useless, not sure though.
 
They run some lots of brass through the poppers, but not all. If they heated the lot, it's stated in the description.
 
anyone know where I can get a quanity of lead for fairly cheap outside of these guys?

100 lbs would be more than enough for me for right now. That's about $250 through midwayUSA. And please, don't say wheel weights...I've called everyone in town and they're 'already spoken for' by other fellas making sinkers and bullets.
