A family friend gifted me this Fowler over the weekend. Calling it rough would be a compliment I think but it had some interesting paperwork with it. The paperwork was written by a gunsmith out of Georgia who writes about the work he's done to the gun as well as his shop being burned down by Sherman's troops. He goes on to write that he had a replacement lock and trigger made by Spiller and Burr.

Long intro but what I'm wondering is I'd any of you have seen anything linked to Spiller and Burr that wasn't a revolver.

Note: Ran out of time this morning but will take a picture of the document when I get home.

Here's the document. The gunsmith is J.M. Bradford. The Spiller and Burr Smith looks to be an M. Bradford. I found a Georgia historical society research center in Savannah. I'm going to reach out to them Monday.
