Fox and Friends Webb Coverage Disappointing

The attorney was Bob Massi of Las Vegas, and I thought he did a great job. He admitted to having a CCW permit and explained what it is and how to get one.

Well at 5:00 with Brit Hume the evil Conservative Sacrife(sp) took up for Webb and said he was proud that he was from the same state as him. I was surprised as I always thought he was an anti. Coarse the mushy middle Mort did not like the idea of the gun law that was just ruled unconstitutional but thought it was an honest mistake. They all said it is ridiculos anyone should spend a night in jail for such a honest mistake. I was mildly surprised.

i've noticed the obvious lack of coverage from all news about webb..........:scrutiny: :scrutiny: i'm wondering what it might have been like if he was a pro-gun republican......................................

For those so willing to bash fox news corp....

This morning (Wednesday 3-28) on Fox and Friends, in a follow up to the Webb issue Steve Ducee said "We fully support the second ammendment and a persons right to carry, we just wish there wasn't a double standard for normal folks and Washington insiders".

Would CBS, ABC, NBC, allow the same statement by one of it's paid commentators? Doubt it.

Well, it appears there were several segments yesterday. I was referring to the first one, and at that time there was no guest on the show. The two gentlemen reacted very inappropriately in my opinion about the subject of the story.

Whitetail:
Your point is exactly why I watch Fox news and why I was so disappointed in their initial reaction yesterday. I would imagine they got more than one complaint about yesterday's early coverage.

I am glad to hear that they are making it right today.

Wow. I don't think I've ever heard anything like this on television. Granted, I haven't had cable for 7 years, but... wow.

I was listening to Massi on and off and he did ramble a bit to the Dumbo twins about how there isn't a mental status check for CCW. I think they asked him as they were all aghast that you didn't have to get a full psych. eval. to get a permit.

They are still idiots.

Jwarren-
The worst of that lot are RURAL folk who move out to the cities, and through a percieved need to PROVE they aren't one of those ignorant bubbas or rednecks, become far worse than most "city folk.

It seems people will try to "live up to" the stereotype when they move to a new location in order to fit in.

Steve is from Kansas. However he has been on the East Coast for some time. He was in Washington DC in the 80s as a weatherman on TV back then....I don't remember which network. His folks are still in Kansas though...So he should not have grown up with such weenie views...

Kilmead is just strange. He tries too hard for laughs.

I admit I watch it for the obligatory morning blonde with short skirt.;)
