Frame size and holster compatibility of Kahr CW45

Does any other Kahr pistol share the same frame as the CW45? I am trying to find an IWB leather holster with thumb snap and kydex or steel reinforced mouth. I would prefer snap attachments rather than hooks or belt clips. I've been using a Bianchi Pistol Pocket holster for a Glock 26. But the fit is too loose, and the adjustable cant mechanism is too thick. Anyone have a good recommendation for a holster for me? Would like to keep i under 75$ if possible.

IWB with a thumb break is not a common holster - probably for a reason. Under $75 for a leather holster makes your search even harder.

I'll just list some IWB's with thumb breaks, I'll let you figure out if they offer them for the Kahr CW45 and if you're willing to spend the money.

The only other Kahr with the same frame as CW45 is P45. The PM45 and CM45 are shorter, and CT45 is longer. You really need to find a holster that is intended for P45/CW45. A CM45/PM45 holster will often narrow at the nose just enough to prevent CW45 from seating all the way. That said, at times you can use a 3" 1911 holster as a substitute, depending on the design.

I struggled with the holster problem for a while and eventually had a local leathersmith in town make me custom holsters. People in the trade can be often found a gun shows. I had to give him the gun for a couple of weeks, because of course nobody has a blue gun for CW45.

The only factory holster that I still use with CW45 is Remora #3 pocket holster.

This one does not have a reinforced mouth, so if you are married to that it won’t help you.

But it a very comfortable holster. I have a few of them.
