Franchi Spas 12 Hook - DIY

Hello,

I am looking for the original Franchi Spas 12 Hook measures, as the hooks are impossible to find separately. Has anyone an idea, where to get the measures? Has anyone a Spas 12 and can measure it for me?

Try Carlsons choke tubes in Atwood, KS. Google the #. Last time i needed parts for my spas they had some on hand.
 
Hmmm, after looking at the pictures it looks like a pretty simple affair, like a length of bended pipe for the most part. Do you know any metal workers or machinists? I'm sure you could get a replica produced if you can't find one.

The SPAS 12 has got to be one of the coolest, heck if not THE coolest looking firearms ever invented IMHO. I would consider yourself awesomelly blessed even if you can't find a hook. At least you have the SPAS 12!
 
The problem making a replica is, that I do not even have the measurements for it. And if i would make a replica, it should be at least very close to the original.

You're right. The Spas 12 is one of the coolest weapons in the world :)

Do you have one? With hook? And measurements? :D
 
It's cool looking alright. I've owned two. To operate is a completely different story. The manual of arms for that thing makes it a bear to master. If you have the unconverted "paddle" style safety be EXTREMELY CAREFUL. Franchi converted them to a push button safety during a recall. The paddle style safety would cause the weapon to fire when disengaged. Ask me how I know. Thank God it was pointed in a safe direction.

Thank you for the information! I already saw this but the price is OMG. I paid a little more than the half for the whole gun :uhoh:
