Has anyone shot any of these, there pretty cheap bought in bulk and would be mostly use for plinking ammo in my 300 Sav. Also what loading data would I use for this type of bullet and can they be shot at regular rifle velocities.

I bought 1000 and I use the same data as I would for 125 gr bullets. Pressure should be a bit lower. I don't think I chrono'ed em yet, but they work good enough for plinking. I have not checked accuracy. They appear to smoke more than regular Jacketed bullets. Maybe the paint on the tips gets hot. I use them for mainly close range stuff anyway.. Imagine a local USPSA rifle match where bolt guns can play too :D

I have loaded them in 30.06, with Unique, 2400, and AA2520. The AA2520 loads (regular 125gr jacketed data) were waaaaay too hot, and led to horrible accuracy, and a few bullets that fragmented before hitting the target. My favorite load is 14.4gr Unique in 30.06.

I was looking at these a while back, posted about them. Someone mentioned they contained powdered lead and that kind of scared me away.
