    Free Training in Baton Rouge

I made the offer to BR folk on Glocktalk and it seems appropriate to extend it here as well. Anyone who'd like to get togther around Baton Rouge for some live-fire training, contact me at Gomez@opstraining.com and I'll try and coordinate something. I'm willing to put on a mini-tac pistol block for those that are interested. Also, you're all invited to the weekly unarmed sessions. They are held every Monday night and we deal with unarmed, knife, stick and whatever else comes along.

I'm in Baton Rouge, and am interested. Can you tell us some more about this? What kind of training is it? Where? What will we be firing?

Curses. We usually take vacations to Baton Rouge (we've got family there) but we won't be during the training times. Curses again.

Hey, either of you in BR heard of a Dr. John Vignes, D.D.S.?

    RGO,

It's all TBD at this point. I figure pistol is the most practical for everybody, but I'm willing to cover some longarm stuff as well. Sherbourne or the new Palo Alto range would probably give us the greatest flexability.

As far as Monday nights go, the sessions are pretty wide open. If someone has an area of interest, we address that. We always work basic unarmed prior to moving into Fist-suit drills or stick, knife, etc.

    MagKnightX,

SMALL World. My brother is married to a Bizette, if that name rings any bells. I believe her mother worked with Doc Vignes for several years.
