Hi, I didn't post this in the classifieds as I have no real information on the sale. Mods move if you think it appropriate.
DISCLAIMER: I know nothing of these people personally and can't vouch for them, nor do I accept any responsibility for deals going bad, etc. I'm just posting this here because there are far more gun-savvy people here than there, and I'm sure someone here can give this old guy a fair deal.

Anyway, this person on a motorcycle forum I frequent posted that a friend from work's father is moving out of state for health reasons and wants to sell all his guns before he does. I'm posting a partial and probably inaccurate list here in case anyone is interested.
In the interest of convenience for the friend and father, I strongly suggest that someone with money try to buy all the guns outright (preferably a local Connecticut buyer) so they don't have to worry about multiple shipments/sales/whatever. I get the impression that the son (the one that's selling them all) isn't a "gun guy." But I suppose they'd rather sell them one at a time than not at all.
Please note: I have nothing invested in this deal; I don't even know the person who posted it, but I'd hate to see an old guy get ripped off.
So here's the list. Some potential good stuff (garand, 1903, P.38, etc.) and some possible junk. See the tread link above for some pics (none are very good).
If anyone is seriously interested, please PM me for the friend's telephone number. DO NOT ASK ME ANYTHING ABOUT THE GUNS; I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. Sorry for shouting but I want to be clear. I'm just doing a favor for a fellow motorcycle forum member. BTW I asked 3 times for them to make very sure it was okay with them if I posted this here and told them they might get A LOT of calls... they said they were okay with that.
