Hello. I have a friend that is storing some guns for a neighbor. The neighbor has said that she would like to sell some of them. I looked over the collection and there are a few that caught my eye. I am not very savvy on the going rate for them and was hoping for some help. I would like to get a "ballpark" price on them if that is possible, so I would know what to offer. Any help is appreciated

1. Safari Arms 1911 45 cal very good condition.
2. m1 garand looks a little rough don't know if it's an A1 or anything like that just says m1.
3.Thomson center arms Encore 22-250 w/tasco scope. very good condition
4.Ruger 7.62x39 semi auto with tasco 3x9 scope. missing mag. good cond
5.Thomson center arms 22hornet 4x16 tasco scope. good cond
6. Ruger 25.06 good cond. no scope don't know anything about this cal I have never heard anything about it

You know what they say about opinions:

1-500 to 600 (Never were "hot")
2-450 to 700 (overpriced beaters)
4-375 to 425 (check the barrel, someone will pay full boat)

Who built the Garand? Look on the receiver just behind the rear sight. It will say Springfield, Winchester, International Harvester, or Harrington & Richardson. Let us know which and that will trigger additional questions. If the IH has an LMR barrel (found on the side of the barrel when you pull the action back) or it's a Winchester with a Winchester barrel you could have something of value to a collector. Depending on condition the value could be anywhere between $500 to $1000.

Ruger Mini-Thirty magazines aren't exactly widely available, or cheap. It was a decent idea, build a U.S. rifle loaded for a cheap, widely available military caliber to supplement their Mini-14 line in .223. Unfortunately, accuracy was even worse than with the Mini-14, and reliability could be spotty due to ramping issues with the larger cartridge. Oh, and the magazines reportedly were fragile. I'd suggest you shoot a few magazines through it before buying, but you can't do that without a magazine.
