just one of your friends' handguns, which would if be and why? Give a description of it if possible, too. I have a friend (mostly my brother's friend) who has a 3rd generation Colt SAA in .44 Special, 4 3/4" blued, that shoots exactly where the sights aim, and shoots quarter inch groups at 20 yards. I've tried to get it from him, but he never goes for it. What's on your list? "THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOR'S HANDGUN!"

I do not have any friends with any guns that I covet.

Saxon Pig, on the other hand, has a collection that I can only dream of

The only one that comes to mind is a buddies perfect like new 19-2 in six inch, the only thing that would make me want it even more is if it was a 4in.

Yeah, everyone wants my guns!

But seriously, there is a Ruger No. 1 in .270 that I know of that I'd love to steal. And some of the fellow members here have a ridiculous collection that leaves me blinking. Emoticon___Blink_by_Kida_Ookami.gif

I love my friend's Steyr M1A 9mm. It's really easy to hold, weird grip but very comfy. Either that or his Jennings .22 pistol... ;)

I saw somebody trying to hawk a VG-excellent condition Jennings .22 pistol for $189 at the most recent gunshow I went to... I think the market price is $40 at the most?

Yeah my friends all want my guns. However I do have a family member with a pre '64 Winchester 3030 lever gun that I would give an arm and a leg for. It has to be mine one of these days.

No friend's guns, but I'd like to have a couple out of GUNKWAZY's collection. Simply stunning.

I have three Hi Powers, but one of my buddy's has a Nazi Hi Power.I even had it for a while, but I had to give it back when he came to his senses.

I've got a Swiss buddy whose father served in the military 40 years ago. I like to drool over his Sig 210 every chance I get.

Custom Caspian .38 Super 1911 with oiled blue finish and burl walnut grips. The same friend has a Colt Single Action Army in .44-40 that has also been worked over, it would be my number two choice.

Something troubling about lusting after someones possessions, too much like tasteless greedy relatives waiting for the reading of a will.

Well its not a handgun, but my Dad has my grandfather's (his dad) bolt action Remington 69 in 22lr. It was given to my grandfather as a present when a budy of his went of to WWII and didn't come back. My dad learned to shoot with it, and when my grandfather past away we thought it had been stolen when someone broke into his home. We found it on the property pitted with rust and the stock weathered to the bare wood, and not firing. It sat in my Dad's closet for a while and then I couldn't stand it any more. I cleaned up the rust, refinished the stock, stripped the bolt apart, put it back together (it had been put together wrong and that is why it was not firing), and took it out to test fire it. Its a tack driver with a fantastic peep sight. Then I gave it back to my Dad because it belonged to his Dad.

I want that that gun, but its not mine. And I'll be disappointed if I don't recieve it sometime, but it wont be the end of the world.
