We've been buying 1911's for a while and decided to get a couple of CZ's. Mine is the CZ-75TS, the wife's is the CZ-75SA and the CZ-52 was a lucky find when we went to pick up the wife's '75SA.
Have no ammo for the '52 yet. But the two '75's shoot great.

Been there, done that. Look at the PCR next-It's one of my favorites. I just picked up a NIB CZ 75BD today. Can't wait to break it in on Monday. The trigger is killing me though, it's quite heavy at the moment. I hope to add to the stable later this month with a SP01 tactical. The thought of a 19 rd. 9mm is too cool to pass up. Welcome to the CZ family.

The SA (the one in the middle) looks quite intriguing. The safety lever is shaped and appears to be placed differently; it looks easy to operate as well as positioning your thumb well for shooting. I am not thrilled with the "riding the safety" "high thumb" position/grip for 1911s. The trigger seems oddly shaped.

I've handled the P-01 and PCR, very much liking the latter. For a DA/double stack it fits my hand very well; most do not. And the decocker placement and operation is very slick. I have no need of the P-01's frame rail and save $30 in the bargain. I may "drop the hammer" on one soon.

I have a question for you:

1) Is the grip circumference and trigger reach on the TS much different than that of the 75B SA? I have a standard SA/DA 75 B that I love, especially after doing a home trigger job, and I’d eventually liked to get a model with an SA trigger and upswept beavertail. There are no TS’s around here to handle.

We just back from our first match using these guns. My wife did fine with her CZ-75SA and I did pretty good with the CZ-75TS. It was really fun. And by the way . . . anyone that does not shoot a run and gun now and then is really missing out. It is just plain fun, I don't care who you are. :D

cbaily - The grip on the CZ-75TS is a bit larger than the CZ-75SA. The CZ-75TS is built off of the CZ-97b type frame so it's a big gun. Try holding a CZ-97b or a CZ-75TS first before ordering one, they are big guns.
