Had a little time so I went to the range. Turns out the bigger the boom, the better I shoot.
.45 Colt - sub 4" groups at 15 yards (pretty much a new record for myself!)
9mm - 6" groups at 15 yards
.22LR - at least I hit the target at 15 yards
The .22 then get dirty and jammed up on me, no longer feeding. At that point I went back to the 9mm to finish out my range session.
So even though my .22LR was inaccurate it gave me some trigger time which was a little more exciting than dry firing and helped me out with the big boys.
The frustrating part was having the jam...at least I had a couple other guns with me to keep going.
Satisfying part was continuing improvement on the 9mm and .45 Colt.
On a bonus note, the guy before me didn't clean out his brass bucket and there were 100 once fired .357 SIG cases!!! I assume once fired since there were two WWB boxes in the trash. Score!
