I apologize if this thread is a repeat, but I couldn't find any answers to my problem on a search
My fs 2000 has had several years of reliable performance, but yesterday it died on me.
The bolt will not go into battery, while loaded or dry. When fully assembled, I can see that it needs to continue almost a quarter of an inch and rotate about an eighth of an inch to go fully into battery.
Because it functioned flawlessly during its last use, I am assuming that I have incorrectly assembled it, but cannot determine what I have done wrong.
After re reading the manual and watching several videos, I disassembled and reassembled the bolt carrier, it will still not close fully.
I called the FN service rep, but I am wary to send it in for service if the problem is simply that I have screwed something up during reassembly after cleaning.
