FTF Handgun Transfer: What Does This Mean?

BTW Vodoun da Vinci, it's highly unusual for the seller to pay the shipping and transfer fees. It's just not done that way. I'm only mentioning it since you said you have no experience selling guns. That's another reason why buyers would want to do a FTF TRANSFER, to save the shipping they usually pay for.

Yes, I know that now and thanks for telling me. But again, in the original listing, I stated that the asking price included all the stuff in the pictures and listing (extra mags, holster, box, papers, 2 sets of grips...) as well as shipping to your designated FFL.

In the future I will make a more definite statement that "the gun is gonna be shipped from my FFL to your FFL and I'm paying for that because I'm more comfortable with it. So, plan your offers and finances accordingly"

This plan is working out really well so far as the initial buyer has come thru and it's all being handled by third parties who are brick and mortar LGS's with FFL and shipping. They have been in contact with each other and everything is being conducted seamlessly and in good order.

My problem with FTF is finding a coordinated time and place to meet a buyer...my work schedule eats every day and there is no schedule. To coordinate an exchange FTF I'd literally have to put in for a vacation day (3 months in advance!) to exchange the gun. Much easier and more professional to have other professionals paid to handle the transaction do so for me.

I'll have to be more clear about that in the future.

VooDoo

I've found giving a guy cash and "just walking away" with the firearm to be an excellent way in which to transact FTF purchases and sales. (But, of course, I don't live in a state that's run by Democrats, either.)
