Had a fun weekend! Spent some time with my family up at the vacation home Sat/Sun and ended it today with a full day out in the sticks at my girlfriend's aunt/uncle's house shooting with a bunch of her family.

Mostly trap shooting. Her dad has his own single clay thrower that works really sweet. I must have shot 150+ rounds of 12 gauge. I hit a little less than half, which is good considering I am still a novice. At a few moments during the shooting there were six of us "on the line." :)

I also dumped a ton of old .22LR ammo through my old High Standard pistol to make room for new/fresh/better cycling .22LR. It is picky and does not like really old rounds.

Also had a chance to try out my new RRA Elite CAR A4 today. We setup a target approximately 250-300 yards out. I had the gun rested on a chair back to help stabilize. (Not going to try much free hand until I get the sights dialed in, so I can be more sure of MY accuracy)

I shot 20 rounds of Remington 55gr .223 and 20 rounds of new Wolf 55 gr .223. Through adjusing the elevation and a little on windage I was able to land 15 on paper. We all thought this was pretty good considering new unadjusted gun, open sights, and fairly long range. Both ammunitions ran smooth, however due to personal reasons I will be buying absolutely no more Wolf.

I can't thank this forum enough for helping me pick out the RRA. There are so many manufacturers out there but I feel I made a good choice for the amount of shooting I will do with it. The RRA trigger is absolutely smooth IMO!

Best of luck! If it is anything like mine, you will love it. I just wish I had more time/targets to shoot, and I am already chompin at the bit to upgrade it.
