I went shooting with a friend and his 14 year old daughter today.
He was shooting a his new Remington .308 and shot 392 bipod/prone at 100 yards. He has been shooting all of his life.
The cool thing is that his daughter shot 387 with my .308 Tikka T3. This was her first time formally shooting anything bigger than a .22. I wish my daughter would do that. I even wish I could do in all the time…
My daughter (age 11) does well with a scoped .22, so perhaps in a few years she can move up to a .223 or .308.
