I was reading about some guys who were recreating a game played by italian crossbowers during the renissance, and it seems to me it could be taken up by us shooters.

Each crossbowers would tack up a sheet of paper with their name on it, (so you would have, say 10 small targets on a larger target) and whoever hit that paper got payed a gold peice by the paper's owner. The receators were doing 3 inch circles at unknown distance for chocolate coins.

Seems to me we could do similar things. For starters, at a long range outdoor range, against a wooden board backing of about 3feet by 3feet, signed dollar bills and .22s at 100 yards, with a spoter. *modifiy range based on your group's ability

at an indoor range, peice of cardboard 2 feet by 2 feet, circular stickers about the size of a quarter placed on the sheet with people's initials on them, zoom it out to 15 feet.

Only called shots count, spotter watches who hits what, 3 shots and then you go off the line to collect your winnings.
