I need to be informed. I would like to donate an earmarked amount of funds, to more than just the NRA and two other non-disclosed groups whom I already support. However, I would like to send the funds in support of organizations that have a clear record of success in defending gun rights. Any organization making real progress anywhere in the US in favor of gun rights is OK.

Thank you in advance.

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is one. All donations are tax deductable because they do not lobby. They do support legal defense and legal action against gun grabbers (like in San Fransisco and NOLA).

Henry, That's a good one. I have been meaning to do this for some time. I just had to re-arrange some things to fit it into my budget.

BTW- Web addresses would be helpful, for research and contact purposes.

You might wish to consider Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO). Both are far more pro-gun than the NRA (which is to say, they are non-compromising). Of the 2, GOA is the bigger one and the one with connections in DC and at the state level to get lots of bad legislation killed. Both have great websites, and I'd at least sign up to get on their email lists.

I decided to tax myself on all the guns and gear I purchase, in order to fund this. The money is set aside in a fund I set up for this. At the end of the year, the funds will be distributed accordingly. I am not super rich. What I have, I worked for all my life. It is an honor to help out when I can.

Thank you:)
