I am currently house shopping... So this means walking in to other peoples homes, looking inside closets and bedrooms and so on...

So far, I looked at about a dozen or so homes. The one I walk in to today looked like every other one on the block... Do the typical walk through... Owner out of the house and my Realtor and I are walking room to room. Get to the master bedroom. Looks nice... I open the closet, look right, look left... Ohhhhh!!!! There's a nice 12 gauge sitting in the corner... Honestly, that was the last thing I expected to see. When I have people come over, I ALWAYS lock up or hide my guns to where they are not easily visible (but are still easily accessible)...

This story really has no point other then hide your guns when you expect people over!

Thats a good point! I didnt think about it this way... The house was not bad but it had no yard so that ruled it out for me... :-(

Well, there was house #2... These people had one of those things that you can hang in the closet with pockets. Each pocket had a....

Really thought, I might have to go back and look at it again... It did have a pool...

Nah, the gun safe would be going in to the office... I didnt look at the yard until the very end... Its all about compromises right? I cant get a house exactly like I want unless I build and that puts me over an hour away from the office... There is no way I am spending that much time driving to work. It would cut in to my reloading time...
