Anyone have any experience with these guys? I am really looking hard at one of thier scout 1911 in 9mm for competition but wanted some feedback before I "pull the trigger." It is either get one of these and some custom work done to my SA 1911 9mm to make it carry friendly or get a Wilson CQB in 9mm and call it even.

They are nice pistols and owner was former owner of the very nice Dan Wesson pistols He sold DW to CZ and started Fusion . He has many years experience

Bob Serva is the owner of Fusion Firearms. Bob is an awesome guy to deal with. Very courteous and professional.
A friend of mine has a Fusion 1911 in 45acp. It is very very accurate. The Pistol is as tight as a Les Baer in slide to frame fit.
The Pistol Screams quality, but it had to be sent back because it Jammed (stovepipe) every round.
Fusion does not pay shipping if you have to send one of their pistols in for warranty repair. Their pistols do have lifetime warranties, regardless of how many hands it has went through.
Fusion uses a lot of STI frames, slides, barrels(one piece ramp), and parts. Fusion gets a lot of good reviews. If you go to www.m1911.org and read in the custom 1911s section, you can find a lot of satisfied owners.

I actually have read some reviews on m1911, just wanted some folks opinions here as well. Actually, Bob Serva is active on the board and seems to be very helpfull. I guess what I was really trying to decide was Fusion or Wilson CQB.
