Being from Missouri, I have a soft spot in my heart for Ed Brown.

Probably can't go wrong with any of them though....

Cool, thanks a ton for the input. I am now favoring the Wilson Combat CQB after talking to customer service from both Ed Brown and Wilson. Both were very nice, but Wilson Combat seemed more patient and more "enthusiastic" about helping me out. Now I just have to decide on what features and finish that I want. I am leaning towards an all black finish. Does anyone know if the bluing and black finish wear differently than one other???

Take a look at the Dan Wesson line. I recently picked up a Razorback (10mm), and in terms of fit and finish, it easily equals my buddy's Wilson CQB and my custom built CCO. Traditional 1911A1 design, all tool steel parts, and shoots great.

Ditto Dan Wesson! If you can find a Valor or V-Bob, go for it!
