I'd say you'll like it, I have shot a couple and was really impressed with it. I keep meaning to buy one but if I did it would be duplicating another gun I already have in the collection. I really can't justify "another" 4-4.5 inch barrel 9, 40, or 45. Especially a polymer one.

I've got a few of these gems, and I'll be very surprised if you don't love this gun. Take some time to get used to the trigger and the new position of your mag release. Don't forget you can get a jet funnel and 18-round mags for that baby! Congrats on a great purchase.

Is there a reason that some HK pistols have colored in lettering on the slide and some do not? Is this just a user added thing?

I'm somehow reminded of the backstraps on Taurus' Raging line. Perhaps useless, but visually interesting.

yes they do, 9mm(but can use 40cal in it) they run around $120 when you can find them, my dealer has them on order again
