I called Smith today. They released 1,100 guns to RSR. RSR would not tell me the exact price, but the guy told me that their price was the upper $200's to lower $300's for each gun to a dealer.

Is RSR the distributor, or do they sell to other distributors?

Also, anyone curious to wonder if this isn't a ploy by the new S&W to gauge interest in no-lock pistols?

I was told they're holding them for a big online dealer sale coming up . Should be plenty to go around .

The RSR "year end dealer expo advantage" starts on the 5th, so perhaps they are saving them up for that (I just got the flyer in the mail today)

These definately do not have the lock . Bobbed hammer / DA only trigger pull and no MIM trigger or hammer .
