Many thanks to mtnbkr for the heads up on these. He and I both bought one yesterday at Virginia Arms in Manassas. Mike Irwin stood by and scowled at us for doing that.

I understand they have 2 remaining at $389, not a bad price at all for a non-lock model.

Interesting thread guys I wasnt aware they had recently put these out
Last weekend I was at a local gun show browsing thru the tables and looking for a J frame. Sure enough this one kind of stuck out because there was no lock. I thought it was used or perhaps something that the dealer had had on the shelf for a while. When I asked he insisted it was new and recent production but without the lock

Well I really like the black finish better anyway and all the other J's he had were silver so I haggled a little and got it. A little less than $360.00 out the door IIRC he had a $369.00 + tax price tag on it.
