I have a Glock 17 Gen4 that I'm having lots trouble with extraction. I doesn't fully extract the spent brass so it block the chamber from fully closing with the next round. When it does extract it likes to shoot brass back in my face. Fun stuff.

I've tried multiple brands of ammo with multiple weights and it still gives me the same problem, so I can rule that out. I bought it brand new and have cleaned/lubed it initially and between range sessions with the same results.

I called Glock and I already have the upgraded recoil spring assembly so I've narrowed it down to a bad extractor.

The question I have is, what is the best process for sending it back?

1. Do I have to go to a special Fedex or can I just ship it from any?
2. Should I ship it in the case it came in? (Inside the Fedex box obviously)
3. What kind of shipping cost will it be? Do I need to get insurance or anything like that?
3. Should I expect a turnaround of 6-8 weeks as listed on the website?
