I'm looking at a G26 as one of the CCW choices when we get the law signed and up and running here in WI.
Is the Gen4 worth 60 bucks more over Gen3? I'm right handed.
TIA

Not to me, but this is a choice only you can make.

Rough texture and large mag catches are generally not the best features for CCW.

I handled both of them today and couldn't make up my mind...

I recently had the same dilemma , ended up going gen 4 because it felt much better in my hand without the backstraps on

If the gen4 wasn't noticeably better to you then I'd save money and go gen 3

Hey Vit, I just picked up a G26 gen 4 today. I liked the back strap option that fit my large hands better and bigger mag release. From all my researching (my wife says I'm obsessive) the gen 4 26 seems to have had the fewest problems. No range data yet but it seems like a good fit for me. I traded the xd9 sc for it and got a pretty good deal. For me the glock grip seems to work. Just my .02. Good luck.

Get the Gen 3. I've heard too many problems with the Gen 4s. You can do a search on this forum of the problems Gen 4 Glocks have been having and many Glock owners actually prefer the Gen 3s over the Gen 4s. And yes, this is a well-researched observation on my part, that most Glock owners do, indeed, prefer the Gen 3s over the Gen 4s.

That being said, I own several Glock Gen 3s and they all function flawlessly and are darn accurate, I tell you what.
