G29 barell in a G20?

I have a G29 but also have an old G20 slide and frame. Is there any wmodification available to use the G29 barrel in the G20 frame and slide. An extension/comp?? Here, in SA, no more firearm licences are being issued and the barrel is the licenced part of the gun. I prefer the larger G20 frame.

Any help or ideas. please...

Another point, any idea's on how to increase the grip area on the G29?

Not compatible, because of different size of the bottom barrel lug that will give an uneven recoil spring rod coil fitting.

Trust me I tried to put a G35 (full size) barrel on to a G23 (compact) slide and took awhile to remove it.

Hogue Hand-All grip sleeve, or a section of bicycle tire inner tube cut and stretched over the grip. For added length you can use G20 magazines with some kind of filler or adapter between the grip and floorplate.
