Kind of Blued

I've handled a G30 and was generally apalled at the feel of it. I'm also not a big fan of the .45 ACP through a short barrel, although I'm sure the G30 is a fine carry gun for many.
Anyway, I'm interested in the G29 SF, and considering that Glock usually (always?) makes their .45s and 10mm guns on the same frame, I'm wondering if I could expect a more natural feel out of the G29 SF. Regardless of my hands, how much difference is there?
Is there anybody that was turned off by the G30 that finds the G30 SF to be "just right"?
Thanks fellas. 10 rounds of 10mm in a pretty compact package, with a 15-round reload in my pocket sounds like a good outfit. I really hope I can like it once I get my hand on one.
