I've handled a G30 and was generally apalled at the feel of it. I'm also not a big fan of the .45 ACP through a short barrel, although I'm sure the G30 is a fine carry gun for many.

Anyway, I'm interested in the G29 SF, and considering that Glock usually (always?) makes their .45s and 10mm guns on the same frame, I'm wondering if I could expect a more natural feel out of the G29 SF. Regardless of my hands, how much difference is there?

Is there anybody that was turned off by the G30 that finds the G30 SF to be "just right"?

Thanks fellas. 10 rounds of 10mm in a pretty compact package, with a 15-round reload in my pocket sounds like a good outfit. :) I really hope I can like it once I get my hand on one.

This is going to be something you'll need to feel in person......

In my case I could feel the difference between the two, but it wasn't enough to feel comfortable in my hands like a M&Pc or H&K45C does.

I have medium/large (normal) hands, and I found that the 21SF was much better for me than the regular 21. I don't like them either way, but there is a big difference. Now, I say big because I'm a picky guy with my handguns and a small difference here and there goes a long way. I don't own any Glocks these days, but I may have to pick up a 10mm Glock now that they are available with the "SF" frames.

I'm also very picky about gun "fit". My main intention for this thread was to discover if certain people have different perceptions on the amount of difference between the two, which appears to be true already.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to handling a 30SF/29SF. That'll answer my question in about 2 seconds flat.

Anyway, I'd be interested in anyone else's perceptions.
