Ga: Denise Majette - Sincere Or New Age Democrat?
So what do you think? Is our new elected official from the Ga 4th district sincere or is she playing the role of the "New Improved Democrat" well?
She SOUNDS waaaaaaayyyy much better than McKinney, BUT in reality she still speaks (that same ol' democatic BS) - "fer the chillun" speak.
Notice though she does uses the correct term - "Semi Automatic Weopons". What's up wit dat? Is she actually smarter than her predecessor?

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Semi-Auto weapons ban. As you know, this ban is set to expire in September of this year unless Congress votes to extend it. Your thoughts and opinions are important to me, and I appreciate the time you have taken to express your views. It is that initiative which helps me to better understand you and the didtrict I represent.
The Second Amendment of the United States Consitution gives citizens the right to bear arms. I respect the right of all citizens who want to carry and use firearms in an appropiate and lawful manner. However , with such rights comes great responsibility. We must do a better job of enforcing existing gun laws. I believe it is our obligation to impose certain *safety* requirements, such as the requirement that each sale of a handgun include a child-safety lock. With the welfare of our children in mind, I wil continue to vote for measures thatuphold the rights of those I represent.
Should the Semi-Automatic Weapons Ban come to a vote this congress,
