The Senate sent back the "guns at work" bill, and added the end of the restriction of concealed carry in restaurants that serve alcohol by the drink, and added an ammendment that would allow for ccw in churches! Way to get with the times Georgia!!! It is expected to pass and go to Gov. Sonny perdue's office in the near future.

Rachen what is up with the Dixie song? Nothing sectarian or southern nationalism about freedom or at least there shouldn't be. All Americans should have the don't thread on me or fence me in attitude especially with something as fundamental as second amendment rights.

I believe your mistaken. The Senate rejected amendments made by the House and now HB 89 is going to a "conference" committee to hash out a compromise bill. For more info you can go here:
