Does anyone have experience with the Galco Combat Master holster for S&W Model 19? I like the looks of it but haven't seen it in person.

When I got my 19 Classic 4.25" barrel I didn't buy the Galco because 1 review said the holster was 1/4" too short for the Classic. Now I also have a 50 year old model 19-3 w/ 4" barrel so the purchase wouldn't be as risky.

Any advice or suggestions welcome. I mainly need something for range use or walking in the woods.

Yes, I have one for my 4" 19s. The fit and finish is okay and It works just fine, but to be honest, I've only worn it maybe twice in the past ten years or so.

Strangely, I recently picked up the Galco CM for a Colt Cobra (2017) in tan and it seems to be made of someone thinner leather and not as stiff as the older model holster for the 19. Even so, it's decently made and works well for the purpose of occasional range use or walks in the woods.

I've been using a Galco Combat Master for my model 65 and 66 4"ers for off and on, about 10 years now. The only thing I can say is that the color has worn off a bit where it snugs against my belt, and after all of these years, its still creaks like a saddle on a horse. For the money, I don't think you'll be disappointed. And the length of leather to barrel ratio is just right on mine.
Good looking 19 by the way. I saw a 19-5 in a pawn shop yesterday that could be its twin, (except not pinned and recessed).

Thanks for the great replies guys! I'm in the market for another 4" gun so I may wait and get something that will work for 3 guns. I have a 6" ebay holster for my 5.5" GP100 and it works real good for my 19s for now.
