May I present my latest atrocity of holiday firearms enthusiasm!

I would've waited for dimmer light so the bulbs would glow more, but it was warm today, the snow melting, and supposed to rain, so I took the photo while I could.

Really, I liked last years better, but nobody else on Gunboards seemed to.

I think it's that "snow" stuff I hear about on TV. Kinda like the stuff in a SnoCone, but on the ground, without melting. :)

That is neat, thanks.

the second one looks nicer, astetics-wise, but I like the concept of the stacked Garands as a christams tree better. So, I like 'em both, but for different reasons.Had you gotten the 1st one closer to sunset/dark like you wanted, it would be the clear winner for me.Very cool pics.

What's that white stuff all around the rifles?
That white stuff on the ground is snow. You know, the stuff that Texas and Arizona get 1/2" of every few years that gives us northerners a good laugh when we watch all the cars sliding around and crashing on the Weather Channel. You southerners are hilarious to watch trying to drive in the snow!

I'd rather

"slide around" & plaly bumper cars every few years than vapor lock trying to shovel that white shi# from around my house EVERY year; why do you think smart yankees move to Texas & Az? Ya'll are pretty good at slidin' around & crashing in the ice & snow too!!! (ok, I'll admit it's probably mostly folks who moved from Texas, cali & Az.)

Merry Chirstmas to all
