For the ultimate in time keeping tacticality, a visit to these guys is in order.

No tactical poser would be complete without a black steel banded Special Forces Pro 1000 diver/direction/finding/demo-countdown/howmuchairdoIhaveleft?Ihopethefusedosen'tburntoofast, watch. Or the which time zone am I in Special Forces Air Combat team watch with similar features.
I won't even start on those of you with pilots licenses or MS FlightSimulator wanabe certificates. :neener:

When did Smartwool get tactical?
I'm sitting here xxx miles from home getting ready to go to court. I'm thinking about the Sterling, Brass, and Stainless Zippos I've used for -well-as long as I can recall, my first personal one bought in '65.Course still have a 30+ y/o magnesium firestarter, and brass water-resistant match container. My Danner Boots are 25 (?) years old, My watch on my wrist is new (8yrs) my others are '67 and '73 vintage. Been using silk and wool socks since I was old enough to wear socks, had a pair of smartwool given to me-sometime back(being tactical I guess I'll leave in package or give away now).Bushnell shooting specs, Prosomethingorother, Ray-Ban aviator shooting glasses--new fangles high dollar ones don't work with shotguns. My sleeping bag has been to Canada and heavens knows where else, Coleman, its 38 yrs old.Maglights in various sizes work, I still think my '55 coleman lantern single mantle and other vintage lanterns work best...still have the Kerosene too.

How will I ever survive the real world? Obviously I'm out of step, with my 1911, K Frame, bolt actions, shuckers, wax cotton and wool too. Time to pack it in at 48 and donate myself to a museum I guess.

Skunk:

T-shirt: Under Armour Heat Gear (http://www.underarmour.com).

Winter headgear: Outdoor Research (http://www.outdoorresearch.com/) has some suprisingly tactical stuff. :D They offer baclavas and other headgear out of black Gore WindStopper fleece material, which combines the warm loft and compressability of fleece with wind resistance (a thin layer of Teflon).

Summer headgear: Columbia makes a black military boonie-style hat that features Omni-Tech waterproof/breathable material (http://www.columbia.com/products/pr_detail.cfm?product_id=212). Much more tactical than standard water-resistant cloth offerings.
