Does anyone make a new copy of the old designs? I discovered this old gal stashed in a green ammo can with some other goodies in a friends garage. I just wish it wasn't half rotten.

Not that I've found commercially, but if you aren't in a rush and don't mind paying for it most saddle and tack shops are willing to do custom holster work.

Kind of shame nobody's offering the old stuff. It's not high-speed, but it's got an allure that new gear can't touch.

I make the Lawrence 120 model belt holsters and done a couple others on custom order. It can be done but a one of of the shoulder holster would be time consuming to do.

The Lawrence looks like a variation on the old US M-7 or M-3 holster or Victory model for the .38 revolver. Available from Pacific Canvas & Leather:

Or the revolver model Victory holster (4" barrel)

I loved the designs and quality of the old George Lawrence holsters, especially the Model 120.

There is just an air of nostalgia that I sucker up for. Older guns and holsters is on the list. I like this one. I also like the style of retention. It has a built in clip that grabs the gun. I'm pretty sure all of it used to belong to an old cop. There was brass knuckles and a few saps in there with the holster. No gun though.
