It seems Georgia Arms ammo prices aren't too far out of the norm compared to the gouging we're getting these days elsewhere. I used to order from them in the past but haven't done so for awhile. Because of their (mostly) fair prices, I was thinking of doing it again.

Any problems or complaints with Georgia Arms ammunition?

It's good ammo and they're good folks. I was able to stock up on H4350 from them; sitting right there on the shelf. :)

Yep.

My biggest problem with them is that they don't feel the need to advertise. :(

Until I started reloading, that was my most common source of ammo. They mostly use Starline brass for their pistol rounds; from a reloader's perspective, that's not merely "as good as" most of the mainline brands' brass, it's better.

At this point, it's a good-sized operation, not two guys in a garage.

They are out of components often enough (even before the big jam), that advertising without increasing capacity would be fruitless.

They are a pretty small outfit really. I don't know how they produce the volume they do. I live close enough to buy straight from the factory which Ive done when in the area. About 30 min away. They always have tables at N. GA gunshows and managed to produce enough to stock them during the worst of the shortages.

I've bought handgun ammo from them for years. With them allowing brass to be returned for credit it is hard to justify reloading my handgun ammo. I just buy from them, save my brass and trade it in for new ammo.

That has been my experience. They became my dominant source of 41 mag ammo but never seemed to have componets available to load it. Lost interest, but their ammunition is very good... essentially "as advertised". I see them at gunshows and buy things like 223, 357 mag, 38spl, and 41 mag from them at the show.

I like GA and have used there ammo for many years both canned heat and new hunting and defense ammo . Right now the problems is they use speer bullets and can't get any amount to advertise in stock anything or atleast hardly anything . I do manage to pick some up at area gun shows when there people are there. But it sure would be nice to order a thousand of this and that.

GA has been one of my most reliable ammo sources for years, never had a single issue with them or their product. My most recent acquisition was some of their canned heat 230 gr. 45 acp @ the local gun show, net of credit for trade-in brass the out of pocket cost was modest.
