Anyone have any experience with them? How well do they tend to treat customers?

I have a fixed blade knife from them, and recently two of the screws fell out of the handle. I've only had the thing for about 6 months, maybe less. They have a page on their site about stuff like that, so I emailed them, Friday morning, now it's Tuesday morning and I still haven't heard back from them.

Guess there's a Buck knife in my future?

Ive been working with Gerber customer service for several years now, on another project. In my decidedly personal opinion, they're GREAT --- once you get their attention...

Always responded to my inquiries quickly and went over and above what their warranty stated.

Guess their customer service is just hit and miss.

Try using the phone. I've called their CS before and was helped promptly by a very nice young lady. Some companies are worse about handling their e-mail than others. It's also shortly after the holiday season, so their e-mail could be swamped.

They may also have been at SHOT Show, lots of complaints about different companies not answering the last week when the show was on. Give 'em a few days or call as was suggested.

Finally got an email back from them, they will be taking care of the problem.

Guess their customer service is just slow, and not actually bad.

There's always that. I know even a big company like that has a limited number of people in customer service, so something like that can bog things down for a bit.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, so long as they actually come through on the parts I need.
