German Weatherby Value

What do you all think is the value of a German made Mk V Deluxe chambered in 300 Weatherby Mag.? Or what about trade value? The rifle is in excellent condition except for a scratch below the ejection port. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

If you can find someone with a gun blue book, it will tell you. My Dad bought one back in the early 50s on a Mauser action. It is still stone stock as far as I know. My brother has it....chris3

Unfortunetly they are going for around $1000 as the demand is currently low. Not many understand the .300 Weatherby IMHO. Nor do todays folk appreciate that Old World craftmanship in those. They SHOULD be snapped up for $1500+ but New and latest stampings and injection moulding are the ones selling!
