That is insane. I know Unique is one of the "do-all" pistol powders but I would find something else before I would pay that.
 
I don't understand, is this for real? I think I know how i am going to make some extra money. You can't possibly tell me that people are that hard up. My local shop has a bunch of Unique, is it that uncommon in other parts of the country?
 
Holy S***. I just bought a Lb of Unique here for 19.99 (plus tax). There was plenty of powder there. Folks have lost their little pea brains. :eek:

Probably a joke, I've read about a couple of reloaders putting stuff online just to see how high it will go.

Including the guy selling 1rd (one round) of 22LR, it was on "Gun Broker" the other day.
 
Auctions are where we can prove that a fool and his money are soon parted.

Good for the seller, that buyer had more money than he could safely be responsible for.
 
I picked up a 8lb jug for 109.00+ tax about six weeks ago. If that auction was not shill bidding a fool and his money were soon parted. Some people are getting stoopid on what they pay for powder and primers. That is what happens when you panic buy on a auction site. There is another auction for unique starting at 69.00 with a buy it now at 70.00. No bids yet. What a bargain compared to the other auction!

I know who it was that sold that single round, he was being facetious and didn't expect it to "take off". He is giving all the excess proceeds to charity.

The $100+ pound of Unique tough goes beyond ridiculous.

(Checking my powder larder - I have quite a few pounds of it, now I can afford that new 1911 I had my eye on! ;) )
 
I just can't believe that's true.

BUT, if it is, I also have 1 brand new jug of Unique on the shelf. I can buy a lot of components with over $100 for something I paid only $17.95 for. I wonder what Power Pistol, HS-6, Longshot and AA#5 can go for?? LOL (I'm not sellin any of my W231!)
