Glad to see you keeping your reloading area neat. Make sure you only have 1 powder out at a time.
You might look at the lee breech pro since you have the dies pm all that.
I have used a early 80’s Hornady projector and never really looked at lee. I now have the blp and really like it and the ammo quality is just as good as anything.
I have been so pleased with it I bought the APP press. Point is, you do not have to buy a high dollar press and a case feeder that cost more than my whole setup.
By the way, the lee case feeder/collator works fine and I like to stop about every 100 rounds or so to do qc. You would have to refill primer tubes anyway so you can’t load a 1000 rounds without stopping anyway.
your bench looks good. Take your time and enjoy the process and you will have a better range day.[/QUOTE
Thank you , and I am more than pleased with this little setup , and the ammo that I've produced so far seems to be more accurate than any of the bulk factory stuff I was buying before .
I'm sure I'll want a progressive press sooner or later , but this one is working fine for now , this is all new still for me. A complete set up for a little over $200 is a great deal.
Alright now tell us what all you got for that $200.00 As far as I am concerned that Lee press is one of the most versatile presses made by anyone. The Lee Auto drum measure when they first came out had some issues but I believe have since been worked out. The one I have doesn't leak even with very fine ball powders and has been consistent enough with HP-38, Accurate AA powders and Ramshot Silhouette that it's become boring. Did you get a scale also?
Anyways, congrats on your purchase and it should serve you well for many years.
Now you're getting the point of all this!Have the night off and didn't tell the girlfriend , ....HAHAHA
