I don't know if my health carrier will cover it, but I'm tired of foam plugs and ear muffs --- and besides, I find the glasses plainful to wear with the added pressure of the muffs. I had to go to the audiologist today so I decided -- what the heck -- and asked for shooting plugs since I was getting new ear molds for my hearing aids anyhow. It'll be eighty dollars so I hope it does get picked up, but if not I'll pay for it. These will fit snug in the ears -- purple pair connected by a rope similar to the foam plugs which completely cuts out sound. I'm looking forward to trying them out at the range -- glasses, plugs, and no muffs. I'll be posting a review if anyone is considering this route.
