I’ve got a ton of brass to prep so ordered a FA case prep center. Pretty excited because I’ve been putting off loading because I hate doing it by hand.

In the next few weeks will be loading..

325gr FTX for 45-70 with IMR 4198.

240gr XTP for 44mag rifle with H110

Load work up of 777 FFG in my inline.

77gr SMK with Varget in 223rem

124gr RMR matchwinners with HP38 loaded on my new Lee Pro 4K.

125gr Extreme RNFP for 38spl using HP38.

All loads are doing a work up so lots of tinkering.

I'm a large fan of 4198 in 45-70. Thats what i use in my hunting rounds.
I usually run A stout Marlin load using 4198 and 300gr HP. I couldn’t find 4198 so went with the Hornady Leverevolutions and 300gr win factory loads. Shot a deer with the win factory loads but having a couple non usable due to insane flare or crimp I chose to finish the season with the 325ftx. It touches holes so I figure I’ll use up the 100pc of Hornady brass I have and duplicate their load.

I trim brass with the lee drill adapter. That gets old too. I'll size and check what needs trimming. If it's a lot. I'll do some then take a break. Then do more. I use a Lyman tool for chamfering and de-burring. I use it while the case is still chucked up.

I use the Lee cutter as well with the same Lyman prep tools. I have a large flat rate box of 223rem that needs prepped so I figure treat myself to the prep station. It’s too tedious for me to do by hand.

i also switched to the FA universal trimmer for the drill.

A drill press is always my recommendation because it can do so much more. I've even made Hornaday precision cases for the stony point tool on mine. Case prep centers are handy though.

Space is limited. :(

You need to order the new rmr 75 and test it out for us....
Thought about it but idk if they will have the accuracy I’m looking for. I also don’t want to spend $80 to hope they stabilize in my savage.

Same here... what else have we got to do on game day, night, afternoon... sort, lock in, trim, chamfer, inspect, repeat... all while watching the game that is.

I just started testing the 69s from rmr. The surprise was how well a random box of Hornaday 68s shot. The 75s didn't do as well so far, and that kinda surprised me. Playing with several weights and brands I highly encourage.

75gr rmr or Hornady?
