The bluing is shot and there is pitting along the exterior of the barrel and on the cylinder. I am not worried about resale value or anything like that. I just want to get it looking decent and I have been looking into the Duracoat products, specifically, the Durabake product. Probably in the parker or matte black finish. I was able to smooth out the pitting with a fine sanding wheel on my Dremel tool, and from there have gone on to remove the rest of the finish along with polishing up everything with a stainless wire wheel. This revolver will not get much range time, and for the most part will just sit in my gun safe, so the finish doesn't have to be able to take a whole heck of a lot of beating.
Thanks for advice in advance.
