I used Accra Glass to bed (full length) a post '64 Model 70 after I repaired a couple of cracks and pinned the stock (the previous owner had torqued it like a lug nut). I was happy with the results initially, a dollar bill could slide easily from the front of the forgrip to the chamber and all lines were even. It has been a couple of months and now the stock touches one side of the barrel about halfway down and the gun shoots all over the paper. The bore is bright with no pits, the scope (a mid 80's Bushnell) was replaced and I am using a Lead Sled so it has to be the stock touching, right?
How could the stock bend?
How do I fix it, just Dremel 'til I'm happy?
Thanks for the help.
