Glenn said he wants a president who he knows will "shoot the bad guys in the head" so Rudy's handling of 911 is Glenn's reason for supporting him as of now.

Sorry, but I support all law abiding citizens to have machineguns. Only problem I had with his segment.

With Paul, Thompson, and Huckabee in the race it does make one curious, why Rudy? Were it not for 9/11, where would he be? But then, he can support any one he likes.

That segment was lame. I lose interest in the NRA more and more every time they open their mouths. I realize that machine guns are not an issue they want to take up, but to semi-quote a great man, if we don't all hang together we will all hang separately. The first amendment says specifically that Congress shall make no law. The Second says that no one shall.

What exactly did Rudy do to deserve all of his reputation and credit for sep-11 ?
He walked around in the street after the fact, and what? He blocked traffic to some streets arbitrarily for a while afterwards? That's leadership?

He's the bone head that thinks freedom = bowing to his dictatorial power:

Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do.

I will stay home if that fascist wanna-be is on the ticket.

What was Helmke blabbering on about machine guns for? Then he switched to "automatic guns"? What was he talking about?

And where did Glenn Beck get the notion that guns are illegal in New Orleans? What does New Orleans have to do with the D.C. law?

Jeez, it was like talking to people or potential jurors about the law. They want to talk about New York or Texas or wherever, anywhere excepting the relevant jurisdiction.

Ya, I thought they can be owned in NO again at this point. His point though was that right after they took them away, the crime rate went to 3rd world proportions. He mentioned that after Helmke said that gun crime went down in DC "for a while" after the ban in the 70's.
