Anyone own Glock models 20 or 29 with high round counts of full power ammo through them? If so please post with approximate counts. Sooooo much internet hype to wade through. Some say that stock springs are too light and contribute to frame battering as slide travels rearward. Others say that heavy springs batter the frame when the slide returns. Many have testified to the durability of other Glock models, but I have heard few remarks concerning these 2 models. Would finally love to have the issue put to rest by someone who has had experience with them.

I dont have a high round count yet but Mcnett with Doubletap has reportedly put thousands through his with both factory and wolf recoil springs. As far as i know he hasnt had any problems.

I don't know how many thousands of rounds that I have put through my G20 but it's quite a few. I still have the same stock springs in it that came in it. All I have done is work on the trigger and reduced the grip. I've mistakenly put a few rounds through it that were pretty damn HOT and still had no problems.

Pushing 24,000

I'm at nearly 24,000 rounds (23,800) in my Glock 20. Never had a malfunction of any kind.

Mostly reloads through it.

Only changes are a 22lb non captured spring, Wolff mag springs, new sights.

There's really not much more to say . . . a superb 10 year old pistol.
