Glock 17L vs. 34

You could do it if someone makes and aftermarket barrel in that length. In that regard all Glock 40 cals can convert down as they say.

Check lone wolf or KKM, Not sure they make one that long though.
So no problem with the ejectors moving down to 9mm? 9mm mags fit?

1st generation 17L with factory compensated barrel. These barrels were supposedly produced a short time as they were prone to cracking at the corners of the ports.

I bought an aftermarket non-ported stainless barrel for it. After a few shots with original barrel, the white dot on the front sight disappears.

Thats the same as my 1st gen G17L.

I actually picked up a Glock factory 17L barrel and shoot the ported barrel very rarely.

When I was taking the glock armorer's course at Glock in Smyrna, I asked about the barrel cracking at the ports and they said "you should get a new barrel it may eventually". :scrutiny: may

They also wanted to see the gun and check its internals if I had it, knowing they might take my barrel and not offer it back, I decided not to let them have it. I did the 6 part upgrade myself but wanted to keep the original parts too.

I also didn't take it on the road trip to Georgia.
