Hello everyone,
Can anyone identify the markings on this GLOCK 19 barrel. I believe it's an early GEN 2. The frame matches and everything is original except for the voluntary upgrade GLOCK offered.
Thanks in advance,
Randy

(Eagle) NPV is the Vienna Austria proof mark. Not found on Glocks assembled in USA.
The pentagon is said to be a Glock company mark confirming polygon bore.
BTT is the date code, April, 1988 from the chart at
http://www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=252205
DN serial prefix is from the first imported G19s in March, 1988.
Seems reasonable that a serial number could be assigned in March and the gun proof tested in April.

Thank you. I knew about the Austrian proofmark and the NPV which was the nitro testing proof, that Pentagon threw me. Thanks for the info. I seemed to found an oldie but goodie.

Should also have a "19" in a circle at the point of the trigger guard.
