Hi all, I recently purchased a g19 gen4 and have since been to the range twice with it, running 4 different types of ammo through it. It DOES have the much talked about heavier "03" spring in it.
brought it home, opened it up, put in a very small amount of rem oil on all of the factory specified spots and waited patiently until i could go to the range.
after two range sessions:
100-winchester whitebox
200-winchester NATO
100-remington UMC
50-range rounds (not sure what type it was but it was dirty as all hell...wont be buying anymore of it)
had ZERO malfunctions and was overall happy with my decision to buy a gen4 since it felt much better in my hand than the gen3 and I can also fiddle with the adjustable backstrap feature.
Picked up three of the 250 round remington UMC boxes, 400 rounds of winchester NATO (both were on sale) and also a couple boxes of hydra shocks. I will be putting this honey of a pistol through a good test in my next few visits to the range and you guys will be the first to hear about any malfunctions.
