Glock 19 replacement barrel

Hi All
I am wanting to pickup a replacement barrel for a Glock 19, I want to be able to shoot lead reloads with it. I see the Lone Wolf ones at a good price but I don't want to loose quality for cost. I want to find a good quality barrel at a fair cost. So what would you recomend?

I've been using Efk barrels for all my replacements or if I want a ported/threaded barrel. I didn't get lone wolf barrels because I've always thought the wolf they put on the barrels is cheesy.

I have used lone wolf conversion barrels and they have run 100%. If I were to get a replacement barrel for my G19, I would not hesitate to go with them again.

I have Lone Wolf replacement and 40-9 conversion barrels for my Glock 22/27 and have been happy with their performance. Their chambers are cut for jacketed diameter bullets and maybe tight for larger diameter lead bullets and you may need to lightly sand/polish the chamber for reliably feeding/chambering (see posts #14, #27 and #41 at the link) - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=653464&page=2

I didn't get lone wolf barrels because I've always thought the wolf they put on the barrels is cheesy.

You can order the barrels without the laser etched "wolf" logo.

I had a Lone Wolf barrel and admittedly drawing a conclusion basis on one sample is questionable. That said I replaced the Lone Wolf with a KKM and was satisfied to the extent that I’ve purchased addition barrels from KKM. I have a Bar-Sto also in use. It was not a true drop-in but only required minor fitting.

I've had two KKM barrels. They dropped in perfectly and function was 100%. The bores are the smoothest I've ever seen with cut rifling. Worth the money.

I have five LW barrels (has six; sold one) and my experience is the quality and workmanship are top shelf.

The last one I bought was a stock length for my Gen4 19 (also works on my G26) and I've now put between 900-1,000 cast rounds through it. Functioning has been flawless. Cast bullets are both Lee 124 grain, one in Truncated Cone the other Round Nose. .357" is the size that works for me.

The one LW barrel I sold was a 40-9 conversion for my G27. I liked the gun so much in 9mm I bought a G26. I sold the barrel because I no longer needed it, not because I was dissatisfied in any way.

As to the Wolf logo, every item I own I've bought commercially has a logo. It's just the nature of the business world to brand what you sell. I guess that's why we refer to different makes of products as brands. The logo doesn't affect the quality of the barrel one whit and I generally buy best value and tend to not worry at all much about branding. My cast boolits have never complained.
