Yes, new sights. I like Heine straight 8 myself. Warren-Sevigny also makes a good product, from what I have seen.
Possibly if you have small hands and it suits you. I have tried them and don't like it since it make is more likely I hit it with my normal grip, and the slide does not lock back when empty.
No reason to change the perfectly good plastic guide rod until it wears out. Why put a fancy new bumper on your car until after you get into a fender bender?
